Alliance leveling guide choosing can be a real chore. Here are some
tips to keep in mind as you look for your best options.
1. Should work for both horde and alliance (just in case you want to
dabble in the dark side sometime). - Part of the fun of playing WoW is
discovering the different races and classes available to you. So what good
does a guide written for ONE race and ONE class do you? No way, you need
something that customizes to YOU.
2. Should be In-game. Alt-tabbing between wow and your OS is just a pain. It takes away valuable leveling time and it usually results in a crash in
the game.
3. Should cover all leveling aspects, from questing to talents, to gold options - Leveling isn't just about completing quests or getting xp by killing enemies. You need to know what your strongest weapons are and how to use them in the most effective way possible.
4. Should be able to SHOW you as well as tell you - We live in the age of technology, and any guide worth a second glance is going to have some
videos available to you to SHOW you as well as tell you what to do next. Take a look at this to see what I mean.
5. Should automatically pick up where you are and what you've already done
- You probably already have characters on their way, right? What's the fun of starting from square one if you've already done a lot of work? Doesn't make any sense.
6. Should be easy to install - You shouldn't need an advanced computers degree to install an addon. It should be bam, bam, bam, you're done and on your way killing murlocs again.
7. Should be easy to TEST on your characters - You should be able to tell right away if you're going to work well with the leveler. After gaining a level or two, you should have a good idea of what it involves.
8. Should have a money back guarantee (in case you don't like it) - This one pretty much speaks for itself. IF you buy something that's no good, you need some guarantee you can get your money back. Just in case.
9. Should be up to date with the latest patches and expansions - One of the biggest weaknesses you'll find in most levelers is that they're just TOO FAR BEHIND. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to be looking for a quest when the giver is nowhere to be seen, and you find out they've been pulled from the game for one reason or another. A Quality guide will be UP TO DATE.
10. Should be easy to customize to your own settings on wow - No two WoW players keep their hotbars and resources the same way. You have things set to how you like them, so if you're going to be using an in-game leveling guide, you should be able to move it wherever you want, get rid of it if you want, and generally be able to customize it to your needs.
